One of the benefits of becoming a new American is access to greater educational opportunities – especially greater access to scholarships.

Every year, the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans funds the graduate education of 30 new Americans – either legal permanent residents or naturalized citizens born abroad.

The fellowship offers opportunities to New Americans by allowing them to be able to pay for graduate school, and thus opens windows to better prospects for the American Dream. The Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowship has already helped 61 current fellows who have received undergraduate degrees from 34 different colleges and universities in 27 different fields of study.
